On October 14, 2021, the Government officially approved Project 8 “To realize gender equality and address urgent issues faced by women and children”. This is is one of the 10 major projects under the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2021-2030 period. -
Gia Lai: Introducing a community-integrated livelihood development model for women who are victims of human trafficking
On the evening of October 13, 2023, at Hero Nup Street (Pleiku City), the Center for Women and Development collaborated with the Women's Union of Gia Lai province to open an exchange and networking program, introducing a community integration livelihood support model for victims of human trafficking. -

On the morning of August 29, the Central Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) and the Vietnam Border Guard Command has co-organized a seminar "Sharing evaluation results and consulting on solutions to improve quality and replicate effective livelihood models for ethnic minority and border areas” in Viet Tri City (Phu Tho). -
Launching “texting program” to support women in border areas
Within the program "Supporting women in border areas”, the texting program is aimed at raising funds to build at least 130 livelihood models with a total value of 13 billion VND (more than $ 5,500) for women in border areas. -
Kon Tum Women’s Union launching the 2022 Program "Supporting women in border areas”
