Hanoi, November 11: the Vietnam Women’s Union organized the National Final Award Ceremony of the Contest for children in ethnic minority and mountainous areas to create gender equality media products titled "Listen to your Child”.

The Central Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) organized a media event in prevention and response to gender-based violence titled “Let's Join Hands and Make a Change Together" on November 25 in Hanoi. It is one of the activities to respond to Vietnam National Action Month on Gender Equality and Gender-based violence Prevention and Response 2023.

Ceremony of the Vietnamese Women’s Award for the year of 2022 and 2023, and the contest “Learning positive values of relief and religion in family life and gender equality promotion 2023” were held by the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) in Hanoi on November 27.

On 24th November in Hanoi, the Vietnam Women's Union held a national review Conference on the two - year implementation of the "Patron-parents" Program. Attending the Conference were about 300 in-person participants and more than 1,000 online participants representing relevant ministries/sectors, VWU at all levels, international organizations and donors.

On the occasion of the Month of Action for Gender Equality, Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2023 that takes place from November 15th to December 15th, 2023, The Newspaper of Vietnamese Women had a conversation with Ms. Duong Ngoc Linh, Director of CWD, to discuss the issue of raising awareness, increasing empowerment and creating opportunities for women and girls to implement gender equality and the elimination of gender-based violence.
