Trafficking in women and children has been seen as a social evil, as it does not only cause severe consequences for the victims and their family but also adversely affects the development of the community and the country.

On 26 April, In HaNoi, the Vietnam Women’s Union in coordination with the International Labor Organization (ILO) started the Project to Combat Trafficking in Children and Women at community level in Vietnam with the National Stakeholder Ownership Execise Workshop.
