    A wide range of activities will be held in celebration of the 144th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910 – 2024), according to the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU).

  • Vietnam Ao Dai Week 2024 launched

    The Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) on February 29 launched the annual Vietnam Ao Dai Week 2024 and organised an art performance programme to promote the value of the traditional costume in life, culture, and society.

    The Peace House Shelter has just officially launched the social assistance center, marking an important step forward in providing comprehensive services for women and children suffering from violence.

    On the occasion of the coming Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) 2024, Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) at all levels has visited and presented gifts to social policy beneficiaries living in difficult circumstances, disadvantaged VWU members, and women in several provinces. Thousands of Tet gifts were presented to heroic Vietnamese mothers, mothers of martyrs, the elderly, disadvantaged women, disabled children, border guards nationwide.
  • Bac Lieu women emulate to study and follow Uncle Ho

    Over the past time, studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style has gradually become a regular job of the Bac Lieu Women’s Union at all levels in the province.     The Central Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) organized a media event in prevention and response to gender-based violence titled “Let's Join Hands and Make a Change Together" on November 25 in Hanoi.   • Continuing to implement "Patron-parents" Program will help achieve dual goal of comprehensive care for orphans

    On 24th November in Hanoi, the Vietnam Women's Union held a national review Conference on the two - year implementation of the "Patron-parents" Program. Attending the Conference were about 300 in-person participants and more than 1,000 online participants representing relevant ministries/sectors, VWU at all levels, international organizations and donors.
