Van Anh has studied at the Sydney Music Institute since she was four, and obtained an Associate Diploma at nine. But in her heart the sound of Dan bau is lovely.

Van Duong Thanh's exhibition is a breath of fresh air for the Exhibition House in Hanoi because her paintings broach old topics through very new methods.

In 2001, she was inducted into the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame, an award given by WITI Foundation. WITI is considered the most prestigious award given to women who have made significant contributions in the fields of science and technology. The award inlcuded her in the list of the most internationally outstanding scientists.

They are young overseas Vietnamese who were born and educated abroad. They accept to face with challenges to come back to Viet Nam for living and working.

Yet again, Ha Anh, A Vietnamese student in London, has won a modelling contest. This time it was the Asian Face competition in London.
