On August 27, 2021, the Women's Union of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province deployed a support package of 3,800 food kits for women and children badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On August 20, 2021, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) - presented the VWU’s Merit Medal “For the Development of Vietnamese Women” to Mr. Kamal Malhotra - United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Vietnam - for his contributions to the equality and development of Vietnamese women.

On July 23rd, on behalf of the VWU Presidium, VWU’s Vice President Bui Thi Hoa presented the Merit Medal for the Development of Vietnamese Women to Ms. Cho Jung Myung - Deputy Country Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam.

On the morning of July 9th, 2021, Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU), had a meeting with Mr. Ri Ho Jun, Chargé d'affaires a.i of the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) at VWU office.

The 8th Vietnam-Korea Women’s Forum themed “Women in a Digitalizing World: the Case of Vietnam and South Korea” held on July 21st focused on the impacts of digitalization on women’s participation in international integration and improvement solutions.
