On June 19, VWU President Ha Thi Nga has a meeting with H.E. Mrs. Lianys Torres Rivera – Ambassador of Republic of Cuba to Vietnam and confers the merit medal "For the development of women in Vietnam " on Ms. Nancy Coro Aguiar - Deputy Head of Cuba Mission in Vietnam. The meeting contributes to nurturing the close relationship between the women of the two countries. -
Sustainable reintegration of returning women and children migrants
On February 21, the Party Central Committee Member and VWU President Nguyen Thi Thu Ha had a meeting with Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Park Noh Wan to discuss cooperation activities to support Vietnamese brides in Korea and those who have returned to Vietnam. -

On August 23, 2019, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU), the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) signed the Record of Discussions (ROD) of the project “Strengthening Vietnamese Capacity for Sustainable Reintegration of Returning Women Migrants and Their Households in Vulnerable Conditions in Vietnam” (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”). -

In the afternoon of May 23, 2019 in Hanoi, the Central Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) andthe German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) jointly organized a workshop on micro-insurance in the agricultural sector and response to climate change.
