    Do the women of today need “Cong, Dung, Ngon, Hanh” (“Harworking, Beautiful, Well-spoken and Well-behaved”)?
  • The Central Vietnam Women’s Union approved 6 scientific thematical studies

    On the 6th of April 2004, the Scientific Council of the Central Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), chaired by Madam Ha Thi Khiet, President of the Vietnam Women’s Union, Chairwomen of Scientific Council of the Central Vietnam Women’s Union, organized a meeting to approve the 6 scientific thematical studies relating to the VWU activities.
  • Workshop “To promote the involvement of communities in the implementation of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy in Vietnam”

    The workshop was conducted for 2 days, on 17 and 18 June 2005 in Hanoi by the Central Vietnam Women’s Union in collaboration with APCASO, POLICY/USAID and UNAIDS.

    The KOVA awards committee just held an awards ceremony on 7th August 2004, at which 2 outstanding groups and 23 individuals received recognition.
  • Making contribution to realizing national objective of employment creation

    Facing the situation that employment has become a critical, not merely economic, but also social, political issue of the country, on 11 April, 1992, the Council of Ministers, now called Government issued Resolution N0 120/HDBT on employment stating that “employment creation is the responsibility of the State, different sectors, social organizations and each laborer”.
