• Hanoi launches action month for gender equality and gender-based violence prevention

    The Hanoi Women’s Union on November 27 launched an action month for gender equality and gender-based violence prevention, under the theme “Ensuring social security, increasing empowerment and creating opportunities for women and girls to realise gender equality and eliminate gender-based violence”.

    On the evening of October 11, in Hanoi, the Association for the Support of Vietnamese Handicapped and Orphans (ASVHO), the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and The Vietnam National Assembly Television jointly organized the 4th "Happiness for disabled couple" with the theme of “Happy Crescent Moon”.
