Workshop “GIPA project and Service providers”

The workshop “GIPA project (Greater involvement of people living with HIV/AIDS) and Service providers” was held recently by Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union. Attending the workshop were representatives of GIPA Project’s Central Management Board, Ho Chi Minh WU and agencies and organizations working in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention.

This is a chance to introduce GIPA project’s activities and enhance connection between GIPA project and Services providers in the field of HIV prevention.

 

It is informed that GIPA project in Ho Chi Minh City, with its constructive activities as consultation, exchange, capacity building for the people living with HIV/AIDS in Vietnam, website development, young women club setting and empathy club network expansion, etc has made a considerable contribution to the fight against HIV/AIDS. All participants affirmed the importance of further involvement and participation by the people living with HIV in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention and reduction of stigma and discrimination against the HIV/AIDS infected people.
