Vietnamese students in UK to hold fundraiser music show

The Association of Vietnamese Students in the UK (SVUK) is set to organize a music bash with the participation of sizzling Vietnam acappella group AC&M on March 2 to raise funds for the needy.

At the show namely L’ Élégance, the boyband AC&M (Acapella & More) will play their latest songs for the audience, and also feature a performance by talented students and professional artists from the British Royal Conservatory of Music.  


The show aims at raising funds for typhoon-hit victims, and child-victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam.

SVUK, founded in London in February 2001, has over 200 members currently studying at A-level colleges, universities, or working at research institutions across the United Kingdom.


In related news, a Viet-German music show organized by benevolent overseas Vietnamese in Munich has raised EUR3,630 ($4,717) for Agent Orange victims and disabled children o­n New Year’s Day 2007.
