Vietnam Women’s Union Leader attends 2016 Korea International Women's Invention Exposition

This is an annual event held since 2008, for women inventors from over the world, especially from Asian countries, with the support of the Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).

The Exposition and Forum attracted over 300 delegates from 25 countries and representatives of the host country. The Vietnam delegation brought 03 invention products to the Exposition which are Nutrient Added UHT Fresh Milk Collagen, Nutrient Added UHT Fresh Milk Calcium of the TH Joint Stock Company (TH True Milk) and Koji Herbal Weight Loss of the Tam Minh Pharmaceutical Company. These 03 products also received awardfrom the Organizing Committee with 01 Gold prize for the Nutrient Added UHT Fresh Milk Collagen; 01 Silver prize for the Nutrient Added UHT Fresh Milk Calcium; and 01 Bronze prize for the Koji Herbal Weight Loss.

Especially, the Nutrient Added UHT Fresh Milk Collagen of TH True Milk was awarded the Special Prizeby Ms. Mi-young Han, President of World Women Inventors Entrepreneurs Association, former KWIA President for its excellentcreativeinvention.

In general, the Organizing Committee appreciated Vietnamese products for their creation and innovationwith highest prizes ever.On behalf of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Vietnamese delegation alsopresented the award to the innovative product“Automatic solar energy charging and coolingsystem” from Botswana.

On the sideline of the KIWIE 2016, the delegation also attended several activities such as Forum for women’s inventors’ network for creative business; training workshop o­n intellectual property from 20^th -22^nd June; meeting with representatives of theKorean Women’s Development Institute, Ehwa Womans University, Korea Immigration Services Foundation (KISF) ...
