Vietnam Women’s Union at all levels joins hands to prevent COVID epidemic
Hai Duong Women's Union staff makes chung cakes at the office Hai Duong province is one of the hot spots of Covid-19 at present with high number of Covid patients. Hai Duong Women's Union has made 500 chung cakes for the quarantine areas in the province, with the expectation that all people in these areas feel like at home during Lunar New Year. Moreover, the Hai Duong Women's Union launched the program "Share through the book pages, prevent Covid epidemic" calling for all individuals, families and organizations to donate notebooks and story books for children to have more joy over the quarantine days.
Also, women’s unions have actively mobilized resources in cash and in kind to support COVID prevention. Thousands of masks, basic necessities and Tet gifts were presented to residents in quarantine areas by women’s unions in the provinces of Binh Duong, Bac Ninh, Gia Rai, An Giang, Bac Giang, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, etc.
