Vietnam Women's Academy to provide enterprises with high quality human resources

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Tien - Director of the VWA - affirmed that facing rapid changes in labor market demand, universities in general, the VWA in particular, had made changes accordingly in terms of training contents, methods, and forms as well as in higher education governance.

Aiming at comprehensive education of high quality and equality, the VWA has signed more than 50 cooperation Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with domestic and foreign businesses and organizations. The Academy has been making constant efforts to change teaching and learning methods to respond to social needs in high-quality human resources.

In addition, the goal of commercialization and application of scientific research results beyond the Academy is also highlighted in the university-business connection model. In particular, in a two-way relationship, based on research, teaching, and practice platform, the VWA hopes to participate in strategic and management consulting, policy making, etc. to promote the business development and the cooperation efficiency of the two parties.

According to the MoU, the VWA and Bao Son Group (Bao Son Tourism Trade and Investment Co., Ltd.) will collaborate in such activities as recruiting bachelors, interns, and students to study abroad, recruiting and training for students of the Academy under the internship program at home and abroad, preparatory training for students to work in Japan, Korea, Germany etc.

As such, Bao Son Group will recruit students of first to fourth year for the engineer training program, orientation training for students who want to work abroad.

In addition, Bao Son Group will participate in developing and evaluating training programs. It will also organize experimental programs for students of different majors and involve in training of students in Business Administration, Tourism, Social Work etc.

Besides, Bao Son Group also gives VWA graduates advice, job opportunities at domestic agencies and enterprises; organizes seminars on career orientation, working skills and behavior in an international environment.

Thanks to the cooperation, the VWA will be able to develop a training program responsive to social needs, thus creating opportunities for its graduates to meet the requirements of enterprises. This is also an opportunity for businesses to actively order high-quality human resources from the VWA.
