Two Trung Sisters' Uprising marked

Addressing the ceremony, Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan emphasised the heroic spirit of the Two Trung Sisters in their uprising against foreign invaders. She appreciated the efforts by local authorities and people in preserving and restoring the Two Trung Sisters Temple, a national cultural historical place of interest. The Vice State President also urged local authorities and people to bring into full play the traditions of the homeland of the Two Trung Sisters to turn Vinh Phuc into a prosperous, civilised and beautiful province.

Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan, Minister of Defence Phung Quang Thanh, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, leaders of Vinh Phuc province and local people offered incense to the Two Trung Sisters at the Temple and planted trees at the Temple.
