Training workshop in IEC for sustainable development for main social groups

During 11 – 12 Nov, 2005, the “Training workshop in IEC for sustainable development” was held in Vinh Phuc province.

This workshop is within the framework of VIE/01/021 project of the Ministry of Planning & Investment o­n “Assisting in construction and implementation of Vietnam Agenda 21” which is co-funded by the United Nations Development Program, the International Development CooperationAgency of Denmark Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DANIDA) and Swiss International Development Agency (Sida). Representatives from the Vietnam Women’s Union and Women’s Unions of 16 provinces/cities in the North and the Central of Youth Union attended this workshop.

This workshop aims to enhance the awareness of sustainable development and to train basic skills of IEC in sustainable development for women and youth with the objectives of sustainable development and life quality for today and future. The workshop itself is an encouraging message to all strata of women and youth to pioneer in the process of construction, preserving and protecting the natural resources of the country
