The Launching Ceremony of “Supporting in Building Affection Houses”

In this campaign, the fundraising efforts received positive responses from women’s union cadres and its members throughout the country, as well as entrepreneurs, organizations, individuals, and donors in the country and abroad. There were 94 agencies and individuals supporting a sum of more than 11 billion VND, 11.000 EU and 200 US Dollars. The following agencies and individuals generously supported: Binh Phuoc Women’s Union: 1.507.000.0000 VND; Ho Chi Minh Women’s Union: 1.500.000.000 VND; Da Nang Women’s Union: 600 million VND; Vinh Long Women’s Union: 560 million VND; Khang Thong Construction and Trading Company: 500 million VND; Mr. Pham Duc Quang – chairman of Nam Truong Son Limited Company: 50 million VND; Mr. Tran Dinh Hoa – Director of Van Tin joint-stock Company: 30 million VND.

The Vietnam Women’s Union will distribute the above fund to provinces/cities throughout the country, particularly focusing o­n the 62 poorest districts of 20 provinces to build affection houses for poor women, single women, and disabled women with especially difficult situations. Each house will be supported with 15 million VND.
