The Contest "Start-up ideas connected with job I love" launched by Le Thi Rieng Vocational School (in Ho Chi Minh City) promises to offer many new ideas and breakthroughs, providing a familiar playground for those who own ideas and want to start a business.
2021 Contest "Start-up ideas connected with job I love" is launched by Le Thi Rieng Vocational School

The 2021 Contest "Start-up ideas connected with job I love" was launched by Le Thi Rieng Vocational School to look for and select creative and feasible start-up ideas to effectively implement Program 939 on “Supporting women business start-up”. At the same time, through the contest, the Organizing Committee also expects to promote innovative, dynamic, enterprising thinking, to create inspiration and passion for start-up, and provide a useful playground for students of vocational training institutions.

Since 2020, the Central Vietnam Women's Union has assigned Le Thi Rieng Vocational School to organize annual start-up activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Participating in this contest, contestants will have an opportunity to join training activities once they have a start-up idea and to receive support in designing start-up plans for realizing their ideas. Individuals/groups will have the opportunity to receive attractive awards from sponsors, social organizations, businesses, etc.

As planned, the deadline of submitting start-up ideas is 5pm of September 17, 2021. The Contest’s Preliminary Round and Final Round will take place in October and November 2021 respectively.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, “The 2021 Contest "Start-up ideas connected with job I love" is organized on the basis of 2 programs approved by the Government on “Supporting National Innovative Start-up Ecosystem to 2025” and "Supporting women business start-up in 2017-2025 period" with the aim of raising women's awareness of the Party and State's guidelines, policies on start-up, promoting the realization of business ideas. Building upon the success of the 2020 contest, the 2021 event is expected to offer many new ideas and breakthroughs, providing a familiar playground for those with ideas and desires to start a business”, said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh, Vice Principal in charge of Le Thi Rieng Vocational School.

Giving comment on this contest, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Association for Vocational Education, expressed his high appreciation of the contest’s significance and expected that through this event, young people could bring into full play their start-up spirit and creativity.
