Signed the joined program to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW

On the morning of January 2nd 2009, representative of MOET and VWU came together to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW of the Politburo on “women’s mobilization in promoting national industrialization and modernization”. Together, they signed a joined program for its implementation in both education and training sectors.

On behalf of the VWU, Mrs. Hoang Thi Ai Nhien, the Vice President of VWU, and on behalf of MOET, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hien, the Deputy Minister of MOET, were both present at the signing ceremony of Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW.

The implementation of Resolution No.11-NQ/TW, is to create favorable conditions for MOET and VWU to mobilize the resources from both sides and promote coordinated implementation of the tasks and solutions pointed out in the Resolution. The focus will be on strengthening personal planning, training women leaders, managers, and teachers that correspond to the role of women staff in the education sector. The plan is to help women in the education sector contribute more to society, family and meet education development in the region and around the world. The Ministry of MOET and VWU will have a plan to guide, monitor and ensure effective coordination in the implementation of the program.

The program has set out specific responsibilities of both parties to promote the target and solution of the Resolution 11-NQ/TW and will continue to innovate the content and form of the emulation movement. VWU and MOET will also pay attention to women employee promotion and strengthen the committee for advancement of women in MOET at all levels.
