Refresher Training for Full Time Staffs of Women’s Union at Provincial and District Levels for the Year 2010
Participating in the training were 60 full-time female staffs of provincial and district Women’s Unions in 23 Northern provinces.
The training class was scheduled for one month with the goal of providing VWU’s staffs with the major contents of women’s works and updated information on VWU’s activities such as supporting women in economic development, communication and education, VWU’s participation in state management, strengthening the VWU system, renewing VWU’s activities and contents, dealing with complaints and accusations within VWU’s competence, emulation and rewards, providing recommendations and social arguments and supervision over the implementation of gender related laws and policies etc. in order to meet requirements of women’s works in the new context. The training content is practical and necessary for the standardization of VWU’s staff of all levels.
