Prevention of HIV/AIDS at work

That is a topic of the seminar co-organized by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affairs (MOLISA), Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vietnam Trade Union and the American Educational Development (AED) in HaLong city, Quang Ninh province for 2 days from 20-21 July 2005.

Attending the Seminar are 100 participants, representing for the sectors from Labor-war invalid and social affairs, health, enterprises, Trade Unions, other mass organizations and some HIV/AIDS affected persons from 4 provinces: Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong and Hung Yen.

In Vietnam, the impacts caused by HIV/AIDS become more and more the priority and concerns from the Government, managers, Trade Unions, mass organizations, community and laborers.

This is the priority of other countries and International agencies. The Seminar was conducted under the program of HIV/AIDS prevention in Vietnam funded by the American Government through the Ministry of Labor in America’sImmediate Action Plan on AIDS prevention.
