President of VWU welcomed scholars and Russian enterprises

In the atmosphere of the New Year, the two sides reviewed the good relationships between the Vietnamese and Russian people before and addressed the wishes to find out the long-term investment opportunities in the future. Participating in this meeting, there was Ms. Phan Thi Phuong Thao, o­ne of business women was awarded Yellow Rose Prize, CEO of Khang Thong Construction Trading Service Joint Stock Company, member of the VWU executive committee. Ms. Thao participated actively in looking for investment opportunities with Russia. Khang Thong Company has cooperation with Russian partners in the field of importation of the high quality textile of Vietnam in large quantity; of agricultural products such as rice, tea, coffee, honey. ..; fisheries and exportation products from Russia to Vietnam as aluminum, wood... In addition, the company cooperates o­n some other areas such as industry, deep water port, the Union sports, building processing factories producing furniture in Moscow and is considering to open a join – venture bank in Vietnam to meet the demand of transaction between the entrepreneurs of the two countries.

In the meeting, Madam Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa expressed her pleasure to welcome friends from far away in Russia, a country that are knowing almost of Vietnamese people. She highly appreciated the economic cooperation between the two countries which contributed to create more jobs for Vietnamese workers - including women workers. She also suggested that Russia created conditions to support Vietnamese women who are now working and studying in Russia and promoted the cooperation between VWU and Russian Women’s Union. Professor Vladimir Zaznobin Mikhailovic, o­n behalf of delegation, thanked VWU for taking the time to receive the delegation and expressed the hope to cooperate with Vietnam in the near future.
