Lao Women's Union staff trained at Vietnam Women’s Academy

Vice President Tran Thi Huong welcomed the delegation to the VWU headquarters and expressed her pleasure at the fruitful cooperation between the two organizations, including many cooperation agreements signed and implemented effectively by provincial WUs of the two sides.

Ms. Lavan Southisan, member of Lao Women's Union Executive Committee, Director of the Training Center of Lao Women's Union sincerely thanked the VWU and the Women’s Academy for their warm hospitality and highly appreciated VWU’s support in building capacity for Lao Women's Union staff. The 3-month training course at the Vietnam Women's Academy has provided the participants with valuable gains, particularly the good practices o­n vocational training and rural development.
