Khanh Hoa Women’s Union: Training on “Gender issues in small and medium businesses”
Recently, with the support of the Local Coordinating Board of the Program for Supporting Enterprise Sector, the Component 1, under the project of Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), Khanh Hoa provincial Women’s Union organized the training on “Gender issues in the small and medium businesses” for 140 participants from the local and provincial departments, agencies, mass organizations, managers, WU cadres and enterprises in the province.
The training was held for one day. This was an opportunity for participants to increase their awareness of gender equality in the areas of employment and labour to get understanding of supporting policies for the employers or enterprises that employ many female workers such as to earn the tax reduction…
At the training, participants shared, exchanged their working experiences and improved their role and capacity in planning the policies, mapping measures and directions for enterprises development. They also discussed and proposed measures to promote gender equality in order to create favorable conditions for women in the labour force.
