Dear Madam,

Please allow me President of ACWO (ASEAN Confederation of Women’s Organization) and as President of Kowani (National Council of Women’s Organizations Indonesia) to congratulate you for the occasion of the 11th Congress of National Women of Vietnam.

For more than 80 years The Vietnam Women's Union has proven herself as an organization which has contributed greatly to the national independence and development of Vietnam.With 13 million of members through out the country VWU has transformed and developed herself as an organization which is mandated to protect women’s legitimate rights and strive for gender equality.

On the Internationally,Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) hasdevelopedvery strong relationship with otherorganizations such as Women’s organizations of Ukraine and Ukraine-Vietnam Friendship Society,Women Involved in Nation Building of the Philippines , the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam, an many otherreputableinternational organizations. We are very impressed of our meeting at the time of hand over of presidency of ACWO from Vietnam to Indonesia o­n last October 2010, in which the Prime Minister of Vietnam, H.E Nguyen Tan Dung was attended the conference and successfully.

You also have initiated many highly distinctive programsamong others are Campaign to end violence against women and girls in Viet Nam, Women Innovation For Development,andWorkshop o­n “Proposing measures to support poor and difficult children.
