Govt crack down on human trafficking in border provinces
Eight government working groups will visit five border provinces this month to investigate allegations of trafficking of women and children.
The five provinces are Lang Son, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa and Lao Cai.
The Ministry of Public Security and Border Guard will also launch a campaign to fight human trafficking along the Chinese and Cambodian borders.
In addition, the Ministry of Public Security has instructed units to attack human trafficking networks nationwide.
