Festival celebrating VN-RoK relations held in Gyeonggi

Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Nguyen Vu Tu attended the event, which drew hundreds of Vietnamese students and workers, mostly in Gyeonggi province.

Representative of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) attended the event. o­n the slideline of the event, representative of the VWU aslo had a meeting with the Association of Vietnamese Women in RoK.

Several traditional games of Vietnam and the RoK were held, along with a photo exhibition o­n daily activities of local people. Participants enjoyed performances of artists from Vietnam and the RoK, as well as Vietnamese students in the locality.

About 30,000 out of 150,000 Vietnamese in the RoK currently live in Gyeonggi, the province surrounding the capital city of Seoul.-VNA
