The project objectives have been well implemented to equip those centers with facilities for vocational training activities. Recently, job introduction is more promoted in the WU’s Vocational Training Centers. Through 5 years implementation of the project, the quality of job training has been much more improved on : industrial sewing, informatics, foreign languages, tailoring...and more new jobs are open like: rural electricity, family electricity, skills for accountants, family helpers, agricultural process, weaving, embroidery...
In order to promote the vocational training for female laborers, especially for therural and ethnic women, the Vocational Training Center has opened the mobile courses at localities, therefore the number of trained laborers has increased. From2001 to June 2005, 11 Vocational Training Centers have provided training to 43,552 persons in which 18,396 persons are given certificates; 24,231 persons get jobs. Especially, the percentage of getting jobs in industrial sewing is high (up to 90%). only in 2004, the Vocational Training Centers provided trainings to 9,897 persons, increasing 1,8 times in comparison to 2001.
