Creative thinking brings about new energy to VWU staff
The training was chaired by Ms. Bui Thi Hoa – VWU Vice President and Ms. Mi Yong Han – WWIEA President, conducted by two trainers: Mr. Byung O KIM, Super Intendent of Seoul Jungbu District Office of Education and Mr. Insoo PARK, Professor of Seoul National University, Cheongdam Middle School, and attended by 60 trainees - leaders, senior and principal officials of the Central VWU.
At the opening, Ms. Bui Thi Hoa – VWU Vice President emphasized the great contribution of Ms. Mi Yong Han to promotinginvention activities of Vietnamese women. In addition, Ms. Mi Yong Han has supported the VWU to expand cooperation with Korean partners for the development of Vietnamese women in general and those living in Korea in particular.

Ms. Mi Yong Han highly appreciated VWU achievements in recent years and said that the cooperation between the VWU and its Korean partners has come to a new height. She wished to provide more training programs to help Vietnamese women promote their innovative ideas and creativity,thus enabling them to become dynamic ininternational integration.
Four topics on invention have been introduced by the trainers including: 4th industrial revolution and maker education, Creativity and STEAM Education in Korea, School invention education cases and Understanding on Intellectual Property, Examples of using creativity and thinking skills in Korea.
The lectures were combined with exciting practice activities which created the interaction among participants and helped promote their invention ideas. The practice exercises used were balloon tower, tower with weight, ideas writing, sensitivity, etc. In addition, the trainers also gave examples related to the daily life, making the participants always feel excited.

Ms. Nguyen Hoang Anh - Deputy Director of the Institute for Women and Gender Studies - said: "I have gained a lot of useful knowledge, for example, invention is not something unreacheable/big,but it exists in our daily life and work. It is important that we have the mindset to develop ideas and apply them. Think and create the idea before doing something, we will definitely find the best solution."
Mr. Insoo PARK, the trainer said "The participants were listening carefully, hard-working, creative and skillful. I appreciate their creative thinking and skills. I think with those skills to be applied in their work and life they will contribute to the development of Vietnam in the future”.
The training not only equipped the trainees with innovative methods and ways of thinking, but also brought new energy which help them bring into play invention and creative ideas to refresh themselves and make greater contribution to the women's movement.
