Annual Conference to share experiences on health care and HIV/AIDS prevention among the Southern provincial Women’s Unions

According to the program, participants shared the result of HIV/AIDS prevention activities in 2007 and the first 6 months of 2008 Presentation and discussion have been made o­n the national target programs (nutrition, food hygiene, HIV/AIDS prevention…), cooperation program with Unilever Fund, increasing the social participation of HIV infected people, experiences o­n prevention of HIV infection from mother to child, experiences o­n taking care of HIV infected children, experiences o­n health care models, HIV prevention. These presentation and discussion gave inputs to formulate plan of activities for the last six month of 2008 which oriented mainstreaming health care and HIV/AIDS prevention into VWU’s activities.
