Vietnam Women's Union

Vietnam Women Award this year will be given to 3 groups and 8 individuals having the excellent achievements in all fields of the social life.

3 groups are:

- Female employees team of the Relic Preservation Centre of ancient capital of Hue

- Female lecturers, staffs team of University of Economics Ho Chi MinhCity

- Female staffs, members team of Police Head Office

8 individuals are:

- Ms. Le Thi Ban – Tay Ninh’s Provincial Party Committee Secretary

- Ms. Hoang Thi Ut Lan – Ninh Thuan’s Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary, Chairwomen of the Provincial People’s Committee.

- Ms. Can Thi Thin – member of the Farmers’ Union, Women Union ofPhu Ho commune, Phu Tho town, Phu Tho province

- Dr. Vu Thi Hoa – Director ofHealth Centre of Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Group

- Ms. Dao Thi Thanh Nguyen – General Director of Thanh Le’s Import-Export Commercial Company (Binh Duong)

- Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Le – Director of Hoa Binh Tourist Company

- Ms. Tran Thi Binh – Technical Deputy Manager, Vice Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Exploitation unit # 3, Vietnam Apatit Limited Company

- Ms. Ha Thi Hanh – General Director of Vietnam Bank for Social Policy

Also at the ceremony, Vietnam Women’s Union will award certificate of merit to top female students passed university entrance exam and graduates university; mobilize support to build “Affection Shelters” for poor women and women in special difficulties.

This program will be alive televised by VTV1 of Vietnam Television from 8:30 a.m in the morning of October 18, 2008.
