• Vietnam Women’s Museum: received objects and conferred “most impressive jewelry” prize

    In the morning of March 30, 2006 the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi solemnly organized a receiving ceremony for the objects presented by members of the UNESCO Club. The UNESCO club is in charge of researching and preserving Vietnam’s antiques.

    Thirty-one years have elapsed since Vietnam was reunified following the end of a glorious resistance war against US imperialists. The great victory was partly attributed to sacrifices by many Vietnamese heroes who fell for their fatherland. Doctor Dang Thuy Tram was one of them. Her famous diary was cherished by two Americans, Fred and Robert Whitehurst.

    A programme to introduce the Vietnamese culture in Poland with the theme "Viet Nam's Colours 1" will open in Warsaw, Poland, on May 1, said Le Thanh Binh, Chief Representative of the Vietnamese Association in Poland.
