  • “Millions of affection gifts” fund-raising reaching over USD 9.6 million

    As of January 13, 2022, the program "Million affection gifts" launched by the Vietnam Women's Union has mobilized a total fund of over USD 9.6 million, equivalent to nearly 739,000 gift packs for women and children heavily affected by epidemics and natural disasters. The affection gifts have been given to the needy women, children and pandemics frontline forces.
  • TYM actively contributes to the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy

    Microfinance (MF) has been confirmed as an important tool in poverty reduction in our country. With nearly 30 years of operation in the MF, Tinh Thuong Microfinance Organization (TYM) has contributed significantly to reducing poverty as well as to promoting gender equality in Vietnam by enhancing economic power for women. MF in general and TYM in particular have been and will make important contributions to the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) in Vietnam.
  • Women's Union of Phu Tho Province to help 688 households out of poverty and to support for pandemic prevention with over 13 billion VND

    The Phu Tho WU recently holds a conference to review 2021’s works & women's movement and deploy tasks for the year 2022.
  • VWU’s e-commerce training courses

    In the Covid-19 context, the e-commerce market has become more lively than ever. Digital technology and new distribution channels have become an effective solution for Vietnamese businesses to overcome difficulties. E-commerce brings new opportunities from market demands on the basis of changing consumers' purchasing habits, i.e. the shifting from traditional buying habits to buying online.
  • Digital literacy for women in the context of international integration

    On the morning of December 8, the Vietnam Women's Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communications organized an online digital literacy training for women in the context of international integration.
  • Better implementation required for policies for women’s development

    Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh on October 15 required ministries, agencies and localities to better implement policies promoting the development of women in general and female entrepreneurs in particular.

  • Female migrant workers in Hanoi receive gifts

    As many as 480 female migrant workers living in difficult circumstances received gifts worth 500,000 VND each during a programme held in Hanoi on September 18.
